Copper Beeches & Gorse
Copper Beeches & Gorse
The gorse covering one side of this hillock near Bratton looks like it has been burnt but is just managing to flower again. The two trees in the foreground are copper beeches which are normally planted for ornament. The little wooden frames also seem to be protecting young trees, so this looks to be quite a managed landscape.
