taken 14 years ago, near to Thorpe Constantine, Staffordshire, England

Thorpe Hall
Thorpe Hall
View south-west from the lay-by. The house was built in 1651 by William Ives, a successful Leicestershire vintner. His daughter and co-heir Jane married Richard Inge of Leicester, and the house and its became the Inge family home. The Inge family added the two side bays in 1790. The 3,000-acre estate is now the home of the Thorpe Institute and the Stablethorpe business park.
