Dalton Mills, Keighley
Dalton Mills, Keighley
Large textile mill complex built on a room and power basis in 1866/70. The chimney was a famous example but has been truncated. The mill was powered by an enormous beam engine that wrecked itself and was replaced in something like two months by a pair of horizontal engines.
