NR9897 : Crarae: gravestone

taken 14 years ago, near to Crarae, Argyll And Bute, Scotland

Crarae: gravestone
Crarae: gravestone
An old lichen-covered gravestone dating from 1799. A good example of a stone cut by a semi-literate mason with words run together and with several reversed letters. As we all know, the standard of education was much better in the old days!
