The Gannel
The Gannel
This is a narrow sandy estuary on the western edge of Newquay. There is a low-tide footbridge near the photographer's position. When the tide is not low there is a ferry further down the estuary below the houses of the Pentire peninsula which are on the distant right hand side of the photograph.
