TF9919 : Railway Bridge over the River Blackwater

taken 14 years ago, near to Worthing, Norfolk, England

Railway Bridge over the River Blackwater
Railway Bridge over the River Blackwater
An angle of the bridge (1704) that shows builders thought about double tracking, rather than putting in foundations at a later date. Most of the bridges here are the same. This section is under maintenance to prevent further decay, full restoration will take place after the Hoe extension is finished.
The trackbed here is private, I was on a supervised walking event.
The Wells to Wymondham Branch Line

The branch line was one of the longest lines in East Anglia, running from Wymondham to Wells next the Sea, through four major Norfolk towns.
