Niel Gow's Oak
Niel Gow [1727-1807] was considered to be the finest fiddle player of his time in Perthshire and is said to have sat beneath this oak on the banks of the Tay to play. There is a Niel Gow fiddle festival in Dunkeld and Birnam each year in March. See plaque
