This photo follows on from NS4375 : Path near Greenland Farm, and shows a long, straight, downhill section of the path.
The Milton Burn flows almost parallel to the path, off to the right; it can be seen in a view back along this section of the path: NS4375 : Milton Burn and footpath.
Directly ahead, along the line of the path, Dumbuck Hill (NS4274 : Dumbuck Quarry) can be seen in the distance, with the double-peaked Dumbowie Hill (see NS4275 : Dumbuie Dun) to its right. Between them, Dumbarton Rock is partially visible on the near shore of the River Clyde.

Path near Greenland Farm
The area near Greenland Farm had been the subject of protracted negotiations to secure public land access, as specified by the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003. The situation was resolved by the creation of a path, bounded by two fences, for the use of pedestrians and cyclists; it now forms part of the Crags Circular Path, a much longer route.
