NN2160 : River Leven

taken 14 years ago, 4 km from Kinlochmore, Highland, Great Britain

River Leven
River Leven
Water not wanted for the powerstation at Kinlochleven runs to the sea along the River Leven, perhaps Scotland's wildest river. It is a continuous procession of waterfalls, gorges and deep pools, must be quite a sight when a lot of water is allowed down it. Here on it passes through a narrow rocky gap.
