Kiel Church & the Morvern Cross
Kiel, near Lochaline, Morvern, takes its name from "Cille Choluimchille" - the cell of St. Columba of the church.The church is dedicated to St. Columba. The Morvern Cross dates from the early 14th century and is carved from a single piece of blue-green chlorite schist. It is one of the most outstanding Celtic relics in Argyll.
