Deadmans Plack Monument
Deadmans Plack Monument
A monument erected in 1825 by the then owner of the land in Harewood Forest to commemorate the murder in 963 of Earl Athelwold, husband of Queen Elfthryth, murdered by King Edgar as he wanted to marry the Queen. (A very difficult place to find!)
