Forest clearing

The clearing is the same one as shown in NS4475 : Forest clearing, but the present photograph was taken from the point where another clearing branches off from this one, and leads in a SSE direction.

The latter clearing contains an NS4474 : Old sheepfold at its southern end, but was probably left clear for a high-pressure gas pipeline; the present photo shows, in the foreground, a marker associated with that pipeline; one was also visible near the sheepfold, and another one beside a NS4474 : Grass-covered wall.
