SP3379 : Cook Street gate

near to Coventry, Great Britain

Cook Street gate
Cook Street gate
The gate at the top of Cook Street, from the 'outside' of the city wall. It is partially obscured by the particularly abundant flowering cherry in Lady Herbert's garden, to the left. A Grade I listed building.

In the background, to the right, is the 30 year old Royal Mail Bishop Street sorting office now up for sale, with sorting operations due to be moved to somewhere near Northampton.
