River Thame at Ickford
River Thame at Ickford
Looking downstream along the River Thame from Ickford Bridge which is an Ancient Monument. The River Thame is not to be confused with the much bigger Thames into which it flows. Incidentally, Thame is pronounced Tame - i.e. the h is silent.
