SX6887 : Teign meet

taken 12 years ago, near to Murchington, Devon, Great Britain

Teign meet
Teign meet
The junction of the North and South Teign rivers should be called "Teign Meet", although, unlike Dartmeet, there is no car park or tea shop. It's a pretty spot by Leigh Bridge on a no through road near Chagford which leads to the Gidleigh Park Hotel. Of the two, the North Teign on the far side is much the bigger river. Downstream is right. This is by the Two Moors Way.
