NH9505 : Erosion - Cairngorms

Erosion - Cairngorms
Erosion - Cairngorms
The erosion shown in the photo is on the sides of the River Druie, flowing into Rothiemurchus Forest from the Lairig Ghru, the famous cleft through the Cairngorm mountains. It seems clear that there is substantial damage to the environment in this narrow gorge, but it is not clear to me what exactly has caused the damage.
