Approaching the Fen Hide
Approaching the Fen Hide
The boardwalk takes birdwatchers dryshod over the marshy ground to the Fen Hide by the Loch of Strathbeg. The sight of tens of thousands of starlings whirling about this spot when they come to roost in the reedbeds in winter is an enthralling experience.
