East Carr Road, Keyingham
East Carr Road, Keyingham
Although there were apparently a couple of small buildings on East Carr Road at different times in its history, this south-to-north stretch is now little more than a farm track which turns east and then seems to head off into the middle of nowhere. The 'carrs' were traditionally the wettest bits of farmland, unsuitable for crops and only used for grazing when the water level was low.
