Shoreditch Underground Station

This is the last public train ever to leave Shoreditch. Due to leave at 20:33, it was quite late in arriving. The already crowded platform suddenly got a lot more crowded as many "last train riders" piled out of the train to get their pictures taken before the train quickly filled again and trundled out of the station, 12 minutes late. The platform and station is now going to be demolished to make way for a new ramp up onto the nearby viaduct so that the line can be extended. When the line reopens, it won't be running Underground stock; it'll be treated as a suburban mainline track and will run appropriate stock.
