Level Crossing at Snelland
Level Crossing at Snelland
Snelland station opened in 1848 and closed in 1965 but now the substantial station buildings are a private house. On the Sheffield and Lincolnshire Extension Railway, (later the Great Central, then the LMS), the building of the station encouraged expansion in this small village.
