Footbridge over Dockens Water, New Forest
This footbridge carries a footpath right of way across Dockens Water from Toms Lane (Linwood) to Ibsley Common. In Heywood Sumner's writings and maps of the 1920s he calls this bridge "Ill Bridge", reportedly what it was called by locals, perhaps reflecting the state of its timbers. These days it's a sturdy modern Hampshire County Council construction.
