Moat Farm Oast
Three round and one square kiln oast house. The square kiln was reinstated in 2009, without a cowl. The building is now used as offices.

The cowl was fitted to the top of the kiln roof of an oast house. It pivoted with the wind to allow the hot air from the fired kiln below to be drawn through the hops and out through the top. Read more about cowls LinkExternal link
