TQ0509 : Norfolk Clump
near to Burpham, West Sussex, Great Britain

Norfolk Clump
Presumably named for the Duke of Norfolk, who is big in these parts. It is odd that the OS 1:50000 map shows a small wood here of irregular shape, yet the 1:25000 map shows the correct truly circular clump. It must have been this shape for a considerable time.
