Formation of the Ashchurch - Barnt Green line
This is the trackbed of the former Midland Railway line from Ashchurch to Barnt Green line via Evesham and Alcester as it heads NNE from the boundary of the square. This section from Evesham to Redditch was closed to passengers prematurely on 29th September 1962 because of the poor condition of the track!
