St Illogan Church Bell Tower
St Illogan Church Bell Tower
The bell tower is separated from the church itself in another part of the churchyard. The church is in the adjacent grid square SW6743. This tower is all that was left of the old church building, the rest of which was demolished when the new church was opened in 1846. The tower was left due to objections by Trinity House. The tower is a landmark visible from the sea.
