SN6089 : Groyne

taken 8 years ago, near to Borth, Ceredigion/Sir Ceredigion, Great Britain

One of the many groynes at Borth, great for jumping dogs, wickets for beach cricket or goals for beach football. Or, best of all, for balancing pebbles on the top and throwing other pebbles at.

Alas, as of spring 2011 they have all been dug up and removed, as the new sea defences do not require such useful objects. Such is progress - shame!
