The statue by Robert Thomas of Hebe, goddess of youth and daughter of Zeus and Hera reclines near the Children's Hospital. She was originally unveiled at Holloway Circus in 1966 to mark the construction of part of the Inner Ring Road. Stolen in 1996 she was recovered in a raid on a drugs factory in 2001 virtually unscathed apart from a graze on her hip. The statue is now in a small triangle beside James Watt Queensway with an accompanying artwork by Anuradha Patel. SP0787 : Statue - no title.
