Heathland east of the Fulliford Passage, New Forest
Heathland east of the Fulliford Passage, New Forest
Looking east across the heathland east of the Fulliford Passage. The low ridge in the distance has been burned fairly recently to check the encroachment of scrub and provide fresh growth for the commoners' stock to graze. In the far distance are the conifers of Peel Hill in the Longdown Inclosure (left) and the Ipley Inclosure (centre-right).
