Beach near Motney Hill
This is marked as a dock on the 19th century map (where the hill is called Motley Hill). There are signs along the shore (burnt and broken bricks) that there may have been a brickworks here some time ago. The chimney across the river Medway is Kingsnorth power station in TQ8170.
