Pair of sarsen stones near Berry Bridge, Twyford
This pair of sarsen stones lie in the nettles alongside Berry Lane as it approaches Bury Bridge over the River Itchen. The stones are associated with village legend of a "druidic religious site" in the Twyford area - there is a sarsen stone circle nearby, buried beneath SU4825 : The Church of St Mary the Virgin, Twyford.
