Neptune's Tower
Neptune's Tower
Perched above Whiteness and Kingsgate and sitting at the back of the 6th at North Foreland Golf Course is this C18th folly almost certainly built by Lord Holland, the local land owner. It overlooks TR3970 : Whiteness Gap and acts as a navigational aid for shipping. (Cf TR2269 : Ruin of St Mary's at Reculver)
