TL4362 : Food Processing Plant
near to Impington, Cambridgeshire, Great Britain

Food Processing Plant
The origin of this food processing operation here was the local firm of Chivers and Sons, which first started making jam nearby in 1873 using locally grown fruit. See Link
. The business was sold to Schweppes in 1959, and the operation is now owned by Premier Foods, the UK's largest food producer. Sadly it appears that the Chivers brand name is being phased out of the company's product portfolio. Even the legendary Chivers Olde English Marmalade has been "rebranded", although curiously it still appears to be available in the USA.
