NG1544 : Stile on Ramasaig Cliff
taken 14 years ago, near to Ramasaig, Isle of Skye, Scotland
Stile on Ramasaig Cliff
It is usual (for me) to wobble and teeter over the top of the wire stockproof fences found all over the hills. It is more unusual, but very welcome, to find a sturdy stile to aid ones passage. The cliffs just here are very scenic, and visited by more humans than is usual for most of the hills. Beyond, the view is over Ramasaig Bay, with Hoe Rape being the headland to the right, and Gob na Hoe the highpoint in the background.
