SP6516 : Brill & Ludgershall Station

taken 63 years ago, near to Ludgershall, Buckinghamshire, England

Brill & Ludgershall Station
Brill & Ludgershall Station
View NW, towards Banbury, Birmingham etc.; ex-GWR London - Banbury - Birmingham direct main line via Bicester. The station was near Ludgershall but a long way from Brill. It was closed to passengers on 7/1/63, to goods on 7/9/64, but the line remains - and has been upgraded in recent years by restoring it to double-track after it had been singled about 40 years ago.
