ST3590 : 1st tee, Roman Road golf course

taken 7 years ago, near to Christchurch, Newport/Casnewydd, Great Britain

1st tee, Roman Road golf course
1st tee, Roman Road golf course
The first tee of the Roman Road golf course at the Celtic Manor Resort, with the Resort Hotel in the background. The name of the course is because it is crossed by the route of a Roman Road leading to nearby Caerleon. Note the use of Roman numerals on the board, just in case some passing ghost legionaries want a game.
