Hooton Station
View towards Birkenhead and Liverpool, from the Liverpool-bound platform. The station at Hooton opened in 1840 and formed part of the Birkenhead Joint Railway. Since 1985 when the lines were electrified it has formed part of the Merseyrail Wirral Lines and is served by frequent electric train services Between Liverpool and Chester.
