The site of Worlingham St Peter's church
The site of Worlingham St Peter's church was lost for many years until a by-pass was constructed in 1980, when the foundations were discovered and excavated. Worlingham Parva was a small early Saxon church with an apsidal chancel and a round tower. 23 skeletons were analysed and re-interred at Worlingham All Saints Church a year later.
