Foxgloves in the Pondhead Inclosure, New Forest
This thinned-out north-eastern part of the Pondhead Inclosure has many foxglove plants (Digitalis purpurea). The enclosure is fenced to keep out deer as well as Commoners' livestock, but I don't know if this reduction in grazing pressure helps the foxgloves to thrive as they are toxic to all large herbivores.
