Tunstall Reservoir - Head of Spillway
Tunstall Reservoir - Head of Spillway
The water level of Tunstall Reservoir can fluctuate significantly, consequently at times there's a strong flow over the spillway and water cascades down it attractively. At other times however the water level is so low for so long that no flow occurs and there can be considerable plant growth on the stone of the spillway slope beside the dam. Here, the photo shows a drier situation.
