SJ7662 : M6 motorway - junction 17 slip road, southbound

M6 motorway - junction 17 slip road, southbound
M6 motorway - junction 17 slip road, southbound
One of only two junctions on the M6 which still have a simple "diamond" layout, rather than a roundabout junction of some form. Quite why this layout has survived so long, bereft even of traffic lights on the busy A534, is a mystery. Leaving the M6 in both directions, left turns are infinitely preferable, since a long wait may be required to turn right!
