TQ9329 : Footpath towards Chapel Bank

taken 8 years ago, near to Stone in Oxney, Kent, Great Britain

Footpath towards Chapel Bank
Footpath towards Chapel Bank
This farm track leads from Luckhurst Farm on lower Road towards Chapel Bank Farm. Some of it is used by a footpath leading over the large hillock in the background. Chapel Bank was formerly known as Ebony (Ebon's Ey or Ebon's Island) and once, as the name suggests, an island in the Rother tidal estuary that ran around the northern side of Oxney.
