SD7767 : Bridleway Fording of Minor Stream

taken 7 years ago, near to Feizor, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Bridleway Fording of Minor Stream
Bridleway Fording of Minor Stream
The narrow lane carrying the 'Pennine Bridleway' between the small settlements of Wharfe and Feizor reaches a minor stream where a perfectly preserved or reconstructed laid stone crossing is made. Stone slabs enable travellers on foot to cross dry-shod when the water level makes it necessary.
