Footpath to Chapel Bank
Footpath to Chapel Bank
This path leads from Acton Lane near Chapel Bank Farm. It leads up Chapel Bank. Which was formerly known as Ebony (Ebon's Ey or Ebon's Island) and once, as the name suggests, an island in the Rother tidal estuary that ran around the northern side of Oxney. The footpath carries on down to Luckhurst Farm on Lower Road.
