ST3081 : Gully draining coastal marshland

taken 8 years ago, near to St Brides Wentlooge, Newport/Casnewydd, Great Britain

Gully draining coastal marshland
Gully draining coastal marshland
Currently dry, the gully is part of a man-made drainage system along the marshy ground between the seashore and the seawall, here about 150 metres inland.
The location is between Lighthouse Park and West Usk Lighthouse.

In contrast to totally clear skies overhead, small fair-weather clouds have formed over the hills in the distance, during a period of anticyclonic weather.
