Filey Brigg - sewage outfall inspection chamber
Filey Brigg - sewage outfall inspection chamber
This inspection chamber is on the sewage outfall pipe that runs the length of Filey Brigg. The route taken by the pipe is shown by a line of concrete where the pipe has been laid. According to a birding website the discharge is now fully treated and disinfected. See also TA1381 : Filey Brigg - sewage pipeline . Filey can be seen over to the left.

Filey Brigg can be covered with water at high tide or in bad weather so no-one should venture out there without first checking the tide times.
