Drinkstone All Saints church
Although the tower is brick-built, it is nevertheless almost as old as the rest of the church. Before you enter, seek out the memorials on the south nave wall. A carved cock is perched on the edge above the one to Simon Cocksedge, a rebus of his name. A little further east are buttresses of an unusual design. Inside the porch is a stoup, a survivor from the 14th century.
