Stephenson's Tubular Bridge at Conwy
Stephenson's Tubular Bridge at Conwy
Taken just before high water. Hopefully for some a unique photo from the photographers site, mid stream, and waiting for the tide to go down the river southwards.
Construction was finished in 1848 and it was opened in 1849. It is the only surviving example of this type of bridge built by George Stephenson.
