NO7390 : Fire Break with Fallen Trees

taken 7 years ago, 3 km from Lochton, Aberdeenshire, Great Britain

Fire Break with Fallen Trees
Fire Break with Fallen Trees
I'm calling it a fire break, because it would undoubtedly act as such in the occasion arose. However it is more than that, because at the southern end of it there is one of the poles warning people not to excavate because there is a buried gas pipeline. Whatever the reason, the gap provided a convenient route into this grid square, though there was no path and the way was frequently obstructed by fallen trees.
