NO7389 : Route of Pipeline

taken 8 years ago, 3 km from Lochton, Aberdeenshire, Great Britain

Route of Pipeline
Route of Pipeline
I gather that these poles with fluorescent rooflets on top mark the routes of buried pipelines, and are intended to be seen from aircraft flying overhead. I suspect that this one is becoming very hard to see from above, because its paint has faded and the trees have almost grown enough to obscure it.
