Community Centres tend to be in urban and suburban areas and have a mixture of day and evening activities that provide for every age range from the toddler to the elderly. They often differ from village and parish halls because their users have no common shared purpose beyond using the facilities. To me, they conjure up a certain type of furniture, decor, crockery and even noticeboard. These tend to have fierce notices from the committee prominently displayed.
